fall is here.

So fall has officially arrived here in the Pacific Northwest! It is literally pouring cats and dogs here or as we say in Polish "Leje jak z cebra!" (translation: It rains as if from a pail).


A few weeks ago, I found this great wooden rack at a local thrift store. I thought it would be a great way to have easy access to all my scarves for winter as well as a fun way of display all of the wonderful textures and bright colors on my wall. The wooden rack was originally this dark blue color....


I decided to sand it down a bit and paint it a creamy white color so that all the scarves would pop against the color.
