Hope everyone had a wonderful and safe 4th of July weekend. Let's get back to 80's revisited. Most of the time when I make a new piece I am inspired from things such as travels, people, found objects, memories, history.... just to name a few. However, this time around the 80's revisited series has come from collaborating with others. In this collaboration, I was just told the general theme or "look" that Melissa Anderson and Christy Pelland were going for.... the 80's!
In making new pieces, I take my time to look over and question what has inspired me. In the process I also sketch and write notes about ideas.
I am looking forward to working with these vintage pieces and also excited to see how everything will come together.
