Hick Party:: Part I

Hope everyone had a great weekend! This Saturday, was the Hick Party blowout benefit for the American Cancer Society hosted by the Pellands. Luckily the weather held out and it was just overcast all day. I had dropped by the Pellands earlier in the afternoon on Saturday to drop off the "best dressed" crowns, shot belts, and some "hickalicious" jewelry for the best dressed lady before the party started.

Here are some images from the Hick Party:

Take a look at these tables full of food from quite an interesting red velvet cake in the shape of an armadillo to various homemade salads and much more.

The Hick Party included a silent auction where people could bid for themed chairs (similiar to themed baskets). These chairs were pretty awesome!

Take a look at this beautiful rocking chair that had been handpainted and included a tailgate party hosted by the Shot Girls as well as 4 amazing seats in the 100 level section to see the Seahawks!

Here is the Little Girl's Chair that included the foam crown and wand I had made!

Take a look at the Cooking Chair put together by Rebecca Stewart, which included some of Chris Johnson's (Rebecca's fiancé) beautiful pottery!

These lovely trophies were given away for the best dressed gal and guy, as well as trophies for the wheelbarrow race and one for party animal of the party.

This was the first year that the Hick Party was a big blowout benefit were 100% of all the donations went towards the American Cancer Society....the Hick Party raised $5,222. Head on over to Christy Pelland's blog to see more details about the fundraiser: www.christypelland.blogspot.com

Tomorrow's post will include some more images from the Hick Party!
